Mānuka honey is produced by bees that forage on the flowers of the Mānuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium), native to New Zealand. It contains unique compounds — particularly MGO (Methylglyoxal) — that are associated with naturally occurring antibacterial activity, as documented in peer-reviewed research. Nuka sources its Mānuka from New Zealand through an established production partner.
